Dear Family and Friends,
We are reaching out to you because we have had some troubling news and are in need of support. The newest member of our growing family, Evan Wiley, is in the Pediatric ICU at CHOC in Orange. He is a precious 7 week old boy and to look at him you would never know anything was wrong.
Unfortunately it has been discovered that his little heart is working way too hard. The veins in his body are abnormally small. Throughout his body the veins are about 50% of what they should be, and around his lungs only 20%. At this point the doctors are stumped. They have never seen this, don’t have a name for it and don’t know what to do. They are networking with other doctors all over to try and figure it out, but right now the prognosis is worrisome. The doctor’s are concerned that his little heart will not be able to beat this hard for very long.
We are humbly asking for your help in two ways:
First, please pray for Baby Evan to help his body heal and continue to be strong. Let him feel the infinite love that surrounds him.
Please pray to comfort his parents Kami and Brian Wiley and continue to give them the strength and courage needed as they go through this difficult time. Help them to not be fearful, but to trust in the Lord.
Please pray that the doctor’s wisdom will lead to the best care for Evan. Connect them with whomever needed to provide the opportunity for Evan’s healing.
Miracles can happen!!
Psalm

ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth
give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.
